Cheskin EVP Stephen Palacios Provides Hispanic Market Commentary in PBS Documentary, “Brown is the New Green”

Redwood Shores, CA, September 13, 2007 – Stephen Palacios, EVP of the innovation consulting firm, Cheskin, and head of the firm’s Hispanic practice, is featured in the new PBS documentary, Brown is the New Green: George Lopez and the American Dream.

The documentary by Phillip Rodriguez aired September 12th and is being rebroadcast today and later this week. The program examines how corporate efforts to profit from the “Latino market” are shaping America’s perception of Latinos.

As one of a number of Hispanic marketing experts featured, Palacios provides commentary on the challenge of being relevant to a diverse US Hispanic market, and highlights the evolving bicultural Hispanic youth segment, whose tastes and interests are far more eclectic than one might think.
